Project updates and street standards on Public Works committee’s Wednesday agenda

Wednesday’s Public Works Advisory Committee meeting will focus on project updates, including the SR 347 grade separation, the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway Corridor Study, City Hall and the CDBG project. Other topics for discussion will be the National Flood Insurance Program and the width and curbing standards for local streets. The agenda follows:

3.1 Project Updates: Staff will provide updates on various projects including SR347 grade separation, Maricopa / Casa Grande Highway Corridor Study, City Hall and CDBG Projects. Discussion.

3.2 NFIP Program. The City Engineer will update the committee on the National Flood Insurance Program and its effect on the city. Discussion.

3.3 Local Street Cross-Sections: Discussion on width of local streets, modified collector standard and type of curbing. Discussion.

3.4 Next Meeting. Discussion on the next Public Works Committee meeting. Discussion.

4.0 Call to the Public

The procedures to follow if you address the Committee are: Committee requests that you express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether in the audience or not. The Chair will limit discussion whenever he deems such an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting.
