PTO organizes 2nd Annual Santa Rosa Shootout golf tourney

Looking for a day filled with good food, good fun, good times, and, most importantly, good golf? Well, here’s your opportunity to experience all of those things and help the children at Santa Rosa Elementary School. The 2nd Annual Santa Rosa Shootout, sponsored by D. L. Withers Construction, is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, at The Duke.

The Duke will be the site for the 2nd Annual Santa Rosa Shootout.

The day will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (a four person Modified Scramble for both men and women). Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive and for the shot closest to the pin.

The proceeds from this year’s event, organized by the Santa Rosa PTO, will go toward the purchase of much-needed art and science curriculum materials (the Meet the Masters Art Program and the FOSS Science System Program) for the elementary school.

Four types of sponsorships are available for the day’s event:

Par Sponsorship — $100 (lunch and a goodie bag for an individual golfer)

Birdie Sponsorship — $600 (lunch, goodie bags and a tee-box sign for a foursome)

Eagle Sponsorship — $1,100 (lunch, goodie bags, a tee-box sign, a sponsor banner display and eight golf hats for two foursomes)

Double Eagle Sponsorship — $1,600 (lunch, goodie bags, a tee-box sign, a preferred sponsor banner display and eight golf shirts for two foursomes)

Outright donations for this worthy cause will be gratefully accepted, as will donated raffle prizes of a minimum value of $50. All donations are tax deductible.

The registration deadline is Friday, April 21. Checks should be made out to Santa Rosa PTO and mailed to P.O.Box 566, Maricopa, AZ 85239-0566.
