Readers ready to cut expenses due to gas prices 

Maricopans are looking to cut other expenses to compensate for the spike in gas prices, our InMaricopa reader poll shows. Over the past couple of weeks, we asked our readers to comment on how skyrocketing gas prices are impacting their lives. 

The overwhelming choice was, “I’ll have to cut expenses from elsewhere,” which garnered 135 of the 255 total votes, or 52.9 percent. The second most popular response was, “Work from home whenever possible,” with 67 votes and coming in at 26.3 percent. The final two answers, “Time to dig my bike out of the garage,” and “It doesn’t really affect me I drive electric,” came in at 37 votes/14.5%, and 16/6.3%, respectively.
