Relay for Life draws survivors, families, supporters to battle breast cancer

08One in eight women in the U.S. and 2.3 million worldwide are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, according to the American Cancer Society.

In Maricopa, Relay for Life is among the largest fundraisers in the battle against the disease. This year’s Relay, at Copper Sky Regional Park on Nov. 5, drew survivors and supporters, including Mayor Nancy Smith.
