Work at I-10 and Riggs Road planned

Drivers who use Interstate 10 southeast of the Valley should plan for east- and westbound lane restrictions between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard, as well as overnight closures at the Queen Creek Road interchange, beginning late Sunday.

Crews are scheduled to do pavement-preservation work during the overnight hours, weather permitting. Work is scheduled to be complete by Friday morning.

Details:
* I-10 narrowed to one lane in both directions between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday.
* Westbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Queen Creek Road closed 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Detour: Use eastbound I-10 from Wild Horse Pass Boulevard to access Queen Creek Road.
* Eastbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Queen Creek Road closed 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, and from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday. Detour: Use westbound I-10 from Riggs Road to access Queen Creek Road.

Obey posted speed limits and signage in this active work zone. Delays are possible, so allow extra travel time.
