All southbound lanes are open again on State Route 347 after a crash about 4 p.m. at Riggs Road.

It was the second accident in four days to close down all or part of the roadway.

Sunday afternoon’s accident blocked the right lane near the Maricopa-Pinal County border, about 12 miles north of Maricopa, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

At 4:02 p.m., an ADOT traffic cam showed an ambulance and other rescue vehicles in the center median of the four-lane highway. Traffic was backed up trying to get past the accident scene.

It is not known if there were any injuries in the crash.

On Wednesday afternoon, the northbound lanes of SR 347 were closed due to an accident at Riggs Road. All northbound traffic was diverted east on Riggs to I-10 for a time.
