How long do you plan on living in Maricopa? A sampling of your fellow inmaricopa.com readers suggests that about a quarter of you plan on living in Maricopa “forever,” and one in 10 will leave as soon as they can sell their home.

About the same number of people dine in Maricopa as in Chandler, and Maricopans are more than three times as likely to go to Chandler for entertainment than stay in town.

Asked whether they would conceptually support a tax to help pay for the development of new recreational facilities in Maricopa such as a library, aquatic center, skate park, dog park and ball fields, almost half said they “definitely” or “probably” would and another third marked “maybe.”
