Maricopa government and education facilities will be closed or have hours changed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Schools
There will be no Maricopa Unified School District classes scheduled Wednesday through Friday. Classes resume Monday.
College
Central Arizona College Maricopa Campus will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Nov. 22-26, and will reopen Monday.
City
The city of Maricopa has changed business and operations hours for the following municipal entities:
- Copper Sky Recreational Center is closed Thanksgiving Day, with hours of operation changed to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
- Maricopa City Hall will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
- Maricopa Express Transit will not be in service Thursday and Friday.
- Maricopa Library & Cultural Center, including the contracted postal unit, will be closed Thanksgiving Day, and its operation hours change Friday and Saturday to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sky Recreational Center is closed for Thanksgiving Day, with hours of operation changed to 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday Nov. 24.
Pinal County
Pinal County offices in Maricopa will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Post office
Maricopa U.S. Postal Service facilities will be closed for Thanksgiving Day, reopening Friday.
