Traffic Task Force to hear traffic issues presentation Thursday

Maricopa’s Traffic Task Force will hear a presentation on traffic issues by Transportation Director Brent Billingsley at their Thursday meeting. The group will discuss recommendations for educating the public about traffic safety. The agenda follows:

4.1 Presentation By Brent Billingsley. Brent Billingsley shall present a review of traffic issues with the committee. Discussion.

4.2 Education. The committee shall begin discussion of recommendations to Public Safety Committee regarding educating motorists and pedestrians regarding traffic safety. Discussion and Recommendation to Public Safety Committee.

5.0 New and Miscellaneous Business

5.1 New Issues. The committee shall discuss new public safety issues of which city staff should be aware. Discussion.

5.2 Next Meeting. On Thursday December 14, 2006

6.0 Call to the Public

The procedures to follow if you address the Committee are: Committee requests that you express your ideas in five minutes or less and refrain from any personal attacks or derogatory statements about any City employee, a fellow citizen, or anyone else, whether in the audience or not. The Chair will limit discussion whenever he deems such an action appropriate to the proper conduct of the meeting.
