Temperatures are expected to climb near 70 degrees throughout the week in Maricopa.

According to the National Weather Service, the week should be filled with mostly sunny skies and temperature highs in the high 60s. Calm winds near 5 mph could blow clouds through the area, but no moisture is expected.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is expected to be a beautiful 68 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. The day began with a foggy haze in the area, but the skies are expected to clear up throughout the afternoon. The clouds should move out overnight, and the temperature should drop near 42 degrees for the low.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 67 degrees. The wind is expected to stay calm near 5 mph, and the overnight low is projected to drop to 44 degrees. Clouds may move in overnight, but no moisture is expected.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be nearly identical days. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with highs near 68 degrees. The wind is expected to remain calm both days, and overnight lows should drop to 44 degrees.

Friday is expected to usher in a sunny weekend with temperatures near 70 degrees. More information will be available as the week comes to a close.
