inmaricopa.com, Maricopa’s daily news and information source, recently launched an “Open Forum” through which visitors can chat about goings on in town. Current categories include Maricopa Schools, Politics, Teen Talk and HOAs though any other topic can be created as well.
The forum is free and users merely need to register online. You will select a username and password that will also allow you to post classified, business and real estate listings on the site and to read archived news and featured stories.
inmaricopa.com also enhanced its classified, real estate and business listings sections. Among the changes made are the additions of images rotating on the homepage for premium and featured listings. Premium classified and featured real estate listings, for example, will showcase photos rotating on the homepage. Featured business listings who offer coupons to inmaricopa.com visitors will have their logo periodically displayed as well.
The lead Local News story will oftentimes feature a photo on the homepage and users can email a news story link to friends and family directly from the site.
“As Maricopa continues to evolve, so will inmaricopa.com,” according inmaricopa.com’s Scott Bartle. “These changes are representative of our quest to continually enhance the experience for our users and value for our advertisers.”
