‘Indoor’ summer golf camps offered for kids

CrossWoods Indoor Golf Centers has partnered with Athletes in Training for Junior Golf Summer Camps and will be offering summer camps for children ages 5 to 12.

These three-week camps are designed to teach campers the basic skills of golf and to foster a true enjoyment of the game. Beginners and intermediate golfers, ages kindergarten through 6th grade, are invited to attend.

Each Monday and Tuesday morning, children will spend two hours learning the basics of golf and sharpening their skills under staff supervision. The resident golf pro will lead the campers through lessons to help them develop skills that they can practice on the facility’s state-of-the-art simulators.

In the afternoon campers can put their skills to the test as they tee up for 18 holes with the stay and play package, which includes lunch from the 19th Hole Restaurant. The camps will be held at CrossWoods facilities in both Chandler and Gilbert. To register for the camps, visit www.athletesintraining.com.
