The Maricopa Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Education organization trained a new lineup of leaders in remote first-aid and emergency care Feb. 4, preparing them for this year’s upcoming outdoor excursions.

Recreation Coordinator and M.O.R.E.E. director Joshua Bowman led the two day-long classes in which he prepared trip leaders for emergency situations where help may not be immediately available.

M.O.R.E.E. organizes community trips ranging in skill level from low-risk museum visits to high-risk multiday camping excursions as far away as Yosemite.
