Maricopa High School boys basketball camp registering participants

Boys entering grades 6-9 have the opportunity to learn new skills and moves, earn some prizes and awards and generally improve their game at the Maricopa High School boys’ basketball summer camps.

Under the direction of Coach Andy Branchik, two training sessions will be held from May 29-June 1 (boys entering sixth and seventh grades) and from June 4-7 for boys entering eighth and ninth grades.

The camps will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the high school. The cost for the camps is $45 per session.

Areas of instruction will include: fundamentals and ball handling skills, defensive techniques, offensive moves, teamwork and game rules. Contests and skills competitions will be part of the overall experience. The camp’s motto will be ‘Dedication, Determination and Domination.’

According to Branchik, “This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and techniques that you can practice all summer and use to get prepared for basketball season.”

Branchik added, “Please be registered and paid by May 24, 2007. Lunch will NOT be provided so bring a sack lunch and drinks. Basketballs will be provided for your use, so do not bring your own personal basketball.”

Come out and enjoy the fun with your friends and coaches at the Maricopa High School boys’ basketball summer camps.
