On the Go Bistro now open for business

Looking for a convenient, affordable alternative to fast-food dinners? On the Go Bistro, which opened its doors in the Fry’s Marketplace Center Thursday, wants to be the solution.

With over 75 years of combined restaurant experience, the Fanning family brings their Classic American Cuisine, in a comfortable, family-friendly setting, to the residents of Maricopa.

Having their own a restaurant has long been a family dream for the Fannings. They were searching for “the right location and concept,” says owner Byron Fanning. They have found both here in Maricopa and are eager to be involved in the community.

Open for business Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the restaurant offers a wide variety of food for the grown-ups, including tempting soups and salads, signature sandwiches like their own “Build a Bistro Burger,” classic “Comfort Dinners” like roast turkey and pot roast and gourmet “Butcher’s Block” selections.

To please the younger palettes, consider the “Kiddie Korner” menu with all the classics: peanut butter and jelly, hot dogs, grilled cheese and chicken pieces. The little ones can also dine on junior-sized portions of all the “Comfort Dinners.” Every kid’s meal includes healthy alternatives for side dishes, as well as a prize from the restaurant’s Treasure Chest.

On the Go Bistro offers a comfortable place for family dining.

Along with providing meal solutions that are sure to please the whole family, all the items on the menu are available, as their slogan says, “at Your table or Ours.” Take meals home or enjoy them in the relaxed atmosphere of the family restaurant. Catering is also available.
