85239 adds journalist to growing staff

U.S. Army veteran Aaron Thacker joined the inmaricopa.com team Oct. 16. Thacker recently completed six years of service where he worked in public affairs managing newspaper and magazine publications. Prior to joining 85239 he was staff writer for Maricopa Connection.

“Aaron’s expertise and enthusiasm are a terrific complement to the 85239 team,” Scott Bartle, the company’s publisher said. “He’s a great addition to our company and will help ensure inmaricopa.com’s and 85239 The Magazine’s ability to continue servicing our growing community.”

Thacker will assist inmaricopa.com editor Joyce Hollis and be responsible for other facets of both inmaricopa.com and 85239 The Magazine operations.

Thacker is married to Dawn, with whom he has a dog, Pablo. His interests include music, travel, photography and cartooning.
