Bright lights, Christmas trees provide holiday photo backdrop

It’s time for the family photo holiday card or the seasonal photo of the happy couple.

Jake Johnson of Jake Johnson Pictures has just the site to take those shots with bright lights and green Christmas trees as a backdrop.

On Thursday, Dec.10, from 4 to 10 p.m. Johnson will be at the Dream by Design Christmas tree lot on the southeast corner of John Wayne Parkway and Edison Road (next to Big O Tires) to take holiday photos.

“I think this location is fantastic,” said Johnson. “I’m actually having a photographer come that same night to take my own family’s Christmas card photo.”

Cost for a group shot is $75, which includes the sitting, retouching and a disc of the final image. “All clients will receive a CD along with a copyright consent form, allowing them to print the photos wherever they want,” explained Johnson. “I can do the prints, or clients can save some money if they’re comfortable doing the prints themselves.”

Johnson will make certain that photos are made into prints or cards in time to mail them out or give them as gifts for Christmas.
