A workshop to help local businesses, the opportunity to network among area businesses and a holiday boutique to bring the community together highlight this week’s business briefs.

Small Business Workshop

A small business workshop will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, 44870 W. Hathaway, Suite 5.

The event, held from 9 a.m. to noon, is a seminar to aid and assist new and existing businesses.

Chamber Monthly Breakfast

The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly breakfast get-together on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, 15406 Maricopa Road. The event will run from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Each month, the chamber gathers to discuss current business, along with introducing new members and networking. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

Maricopa Holiday Boutique

The Maricopa Holiday Boutique will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot between Arena Grill and Poco Loco.

The event provides an opportunity for the community to come together and share the holiday spirit, as well as a chance to get involved and give back to the community. Those attending are asked to bring two cans of food per person. The food will be donated to the local food banks.
