Knight of Columbus-sponsored blood drive Saturday
Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Grace Church are sponsoring a Maricopa Community Blood Drive Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Maricopa High School cafeteria at 45012 W. Honeycutt.
According to United Blood Services, 700 donors are needed every day to meet the demand of blood in Arizona. To schedule your life-saving appointment, visit www.BloodHero.com (sponsor code: maricopa) or call Chuck Morene at (520) 868-6587. All donors will receive a voucher for a ticket to the 2008 FBR Open.
Chamber offers conference room for fee
The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce is offering use of its conference room to members for a fee of $25 per hour. Contact the chamber at (520) 568-2844 for availability.
Chamber breakfast
Maricopa Chamber of Commerce’s monthly business meeting is Thursday from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and Resort. The cost is $12 at the door for members and $15 for non-members.
