CAC offering ELAA/ESL and GED prep classes, registration begins Jan. 5

Pre-registration for Central Arizona College’s English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA or ESL) classes will take place in early January and mid-February for two spring semester sessions. Central Arizona College is also gearing up for another semester of helping students earn their General Educational Development (GED) diploma.

The first session for each class begins Jan. 20 with pre-registration starting Jan. 5. The second session will begin on March 23 with pre-registration starting Feb. 23.

Students must pre-register at any one of CAC’s nine campuses or centers in Pinal County (the Maricopa Center is located at 20900 John Wayne Parkway) and must show proof of legal presence in the United States.

Classes will be divided into a pair of eight-week periods over the duration of the semester.

Central Arizona College’s ESL and GED classes are currently provided at no cost to Arizona residents and will be held on the following days at this location:

Maricopa Wells Middle School, 45725 W. Honeycutt Ave., Room B135 from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday (Begins January 20 and March 24)
