CAC recruiting artists for 2nd annual art show

Central Arizona College is recruiting Pinal County artists to participate in the 2nd Annual CAC Corporate Center Art Show & Fair on Saturday, Aug. 15, in Casa Grande.

The event will be held in Room 106-107 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the CAC Corporate Center, 540 N. Camino Mercado in the former Palm Center Outlet. The show will coincide with CAC’s final registration for semester-long classes the same day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corporate center.

There is no charge to the artists for displaying their work and no admission fee to view the artwork. The first 25 artists who reserve a space will be provided a table and two chairs.

“In addition to registering for classes, students will be able to meet Pinal County artists and artisans who will be showing and sharing their artwork,” said Mary Marrinan-Menchaca, the event’s organizer.
