Candidate meet and greet to be held Monday at Native

A political candidate meet and greet will be held Monday at Maricopa’s Native New Yorker, 21164 N John Wayne Parkway.

Candidates attending the event will include Adam Kwasman, a Republican candidate for Arizona’s Congressional District 1; Bret Roberts, candidate for local constable; Vincent Manfredi, a candidate for Maricopa city council; and Maricopa Mayor Christian Price. who's running for re-election.

“I’m basically just organizing the event and getting people to come out,” Roberts said. “This isn’t a fundraiser, it’s a chance for voters to come out and meet their representatives so they can put a face to the name.”

During the event the candidates will each speak on their individual platforms and issues, as well as meet and talk to voters one-on-one.

The meet and greet runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
