Students have until Saturday to register for the fall 2013 semester at Central Arizona College.

Special registration hours will be held throughout the district at the Aravaipa, Maricopa, Signal Peak and Superstition Mountain campuses, as well as the San Tan Center 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

As part of an ongoing effort to prepare students to be more successful in the classroom, Central Arizona College has implemented On Time Registration beginning with the 2013 fall semester.

Starting with classes that begin after 4:30 p.m. Friday, students no longer will be allowed to register for courses that have already started.

“When our students register on time,” Debbie Foster, professor of speech communication, said, “they are more likely to be successful in their classes, get into the classes they want, complete their degrees on time, and avoid last-minute hassles.”

For students registering using CAC’s online student services, open classes will be available for enrollment until midnight prior to the first day of the semester. After that, students must register in-person and must do so prior to the first meeting of the class.

Inquiries regarding a student’s account must originate from the student’s CAC email account and must include their student ID number.

The Maricopa Campus is at 17945 N. Regent Drive. The phone number is 520-494-6400.
