CAC holds vocal auditions April 25

For those who have considered taking a voice class, vocal lessons or singing in a choir, Central Arizona College is encouraging members of the community to explore their talent and opportunities by auditioning 2 to 4 p.m. April 25 at the college’s Signal Peak Campus.

The auditions will be held in the Choir Room (Room 104) of the Don P. Pence Center for Visual & Performing Arts (Building P).

Those wishing to audition are asked to prepare a song, or part of a song, in the musical style of their choice.

Hopeful vocalists will have the opportunity to meet with CAC professor of choral studies Kim Osteen-Petreshock, as well as professor of voice Joel Wolcott and receive information and advice about singing for CAC during the 2013-2014 academic year.

For more information, questions about the auditions, or to reserve an audition time, participants should contact Osteen-Petreshock by email at [email protected].

Those unable to attend the auditions on April 25 will be given an opportunity to audition at an alternate date and time.
