Community invited to Career Day at Maricopa High School

On Friday, September 30, the Career and Technical Education Department of Maricopa High School is sponsoring a Career Day. This will conclude a month long study of careers including career planning, education cost analysis, writing resumes, cover letters, interviewing and portfolios.

The Career Day event will include participants from colleges, universities, technical schools, civic and military organizations and businesses from Maricopa and Pinal counties.

Information will be provided by the participants on education and career opportunities. There will be exhibits, displays and other information available from each of the participants. Some of the participants will have hiring information available for those seeking employment. Students, parents and community members are invited to attend.

The event will be held in the multipurpose building on the north side of the high school running from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
