Dignity Health Arizona, formerly Catholic Healthcare West, is bringing 14 new jobs to Maricopa at an urgent-care facility it is opening in the Shops at Maricopa Fiesta, at 20750 N. John Wayne Parkway.
Positions available include a physician, registered nurse, registrar/medical assistant and radiology technologist.
Approximately $600,000 in tenant improvements has begun on the existing site. The facility is expected to open in April.
The urgent care will be staffed with board certified/eligible doctors and registered nurses.
Patients of all ages can be treated at the facility for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries needing immediate attention.
Laboratory and radiology services will be available and the facility will be open noon to 9 p.m. daily, including holidays.
The urgent care will offer a call-ahead service that allows patients to call the clinic starting at 7 a.m. and wait at home until staff calls them to come in.
The Maricopa urgent care facility is one of two local Dignity Health projects.
