If you plan to vote early, you can go to city hall.

Early ballot drop boxes will be at the municipal building as well as at the normal place, Maricopa Stanfield Justice Court, through Oct. 30 for the Nov. 3 general election. Local races include a seat on city council, three seats on the Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board and Pinal County Supervisor, District 4.

Early voting runs through Oct. 30. The last day to request an early ballot is Oct. 23. Application for an early ballot can be made online here.

If you haven’t registered to vote yet, there is still time. Earlier this week, a federal judge in Arizona extended the deadline for registration to Oct. 23.

Registration can be done online, by mail (postmarked by Friday, Oct. 23) or in person at the Pinal County Recorder’s office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23. You can download a voter registration form here.

On Wednesday, and again Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Pinal County Mobile Voter Outreach Van will visit Copper Sky Recreational Complex parking lot so voters can drop off their early ballots or request an early ballot to vote on site.

Whether submitted by mail or in person, ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, or dropped off at any polling place in the county on the day of the election before polls close.

The drop box is inside Maricopa City Hall is at 39700 W. Civic Center Plaza, off White and Parker Road. It is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Thursday.

The Maricopa Stanfield Justice Court is at 19955 Wilson Ave. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. There are road detours in place around the court due to construction. From southbound John Wayne Parkway, head west on West Garvey Avenue and make a right turn onto West Madison Avenue. Drive until the road is closed (at Wilson Avenue). The court is on your right and the ballot drop box is outside of the court.
