Maricopa Unified School District has six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. MUSD also has an alternative high school called Ram Academy. The city has two K-12 charter schools and other charters for elementary-aged children. Charter schools are tuition-free, public schools. Central Arizona College offers dual enrollment for high schoolers. CAC is the Pinal County community college system.
