Family night features soda, pizza, ice cream specials

Baskin Robbins and Rosati’s Pizza will host their first ever Maricopa family night Wednesday, July 29.

The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m., featuring $1 slices of pizza, 50-cent cans of soda and buy-one-get-one-free ice cream scoops.

“You can get two slices of pizza, a Coke and two scoops of ice cream for less than $5,” said Baskin Robbins owner Tammy Adams “That is a great deal.”

Adams added that she and representatives from Rosati’s had teamed up during the ice cream shop’s 32-cent scoop event a couple months back and decided to run another joint promotion.

“We sat down and tried to think of something similar we could do to benefit the community and draw in some customers. This is what we came up with,” Adams said.

While the event will be a first-time endeavor for the two businesses, Adams added, if successful, it is something they are thinking about offering every quarter.

“This event should be a lot of fun,” she said.
