Harrah’s Ak-Chin offers a variety of January entertainment

January is packed with entertainers who have made a resolution to keep Maricopa entertained at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort. Make a New Year’s resolution to be entertained with Harrah’s!

Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort is bringing great entertainment to you in 2006. Starting January 6 and 7, Canyon Walls will bring their wide array of country classics to the Oasis Lounge. They’ve got everything covered from Toby Keith to Alan Jackson, classic country to Southern Rock. Come hear Canyon Walls echo the best of the genre at 8 and 10 p.m.

The Missing Links are Monkee-ing around with top-ten hits like “I’m a Believer,” “I’m not your Stepping Stone,” “Valleri,” “Last Train to Clarksville” and “Daydream Believer.” The Missing Links have brilliantly re-created the Monkee’s look, sound and energy. Their strong musical ability, high-powered act and sharp comedic skills have made these fantastic Monkees mimics the country’s hottest tribute act. Go bananas at the Oasis Lounge January 13 and 14, with performances at 8 and 10 p.m.

You’ll be smitten with Cowboy Crush! This female country band is tearing up the charts with their hit “Nobody ever died of a broken heart.” These five ladies sing like angels, play like demons and have more fun while they’re doing it than any other performers out there. Cowboy Crush will perform at the Oasis Lounge January 20 and 21 at 8 and 10 p.m.

The classic 60’s band The Drifters of “Under the Boardwalk” fame will bring their classic sound to Harrah’s Oasis Lounge on January 26 at 8 and 10 p.m.

“At Harrah’s with my baby, that’s where I’ll be.” Ricky van Shelton‘s love for country oldies has helped him become a well-rounded country artist, achieving numerous hits like “Somebody Lied,” “Do We All Have the Right” and “Life Turned Her That Way.” Shelton will bring his blend of old and new to the Oasis Lounge on January 27 and 28 at 8 and 10 p.m. All shows at the Oasis Lounge are free!
