Area health and nutrition professionals set up shop at the Global Water facility Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. during a free health fair for Maricopa residents.
The Maricopa Chamber of Commerce sponsored event showcased some of the many services provided locally in the health and nutrition fields.
On hand to answer questions about their various services were licensed acupuncturist Christina Lambert from Alliance Health Care, physical therapist Lisa Akers, Allstate insurance agent Minerva Hendrix and Dr. John Donohue from A-1 Health and Wellness Center.
Representatives were also at the fair from Balance in Home Training, Renaissance2 Medical Care, Comfort Keepers, Maricopa Hearing Center, Hair Focus and Acacia Orthodontic Specialists. They were available to distribute information and respond to inquiries regarding their products and services.
New Global Resource Manager Jim Egelston was also present to give visitors information on the facility itself and its Leeds certification. Egelston will be the person in charge of scheduling the facility for events.
