Healthstyles Southwest cleans while staying green

Green and clean Maricopa residents Tammy Treadwell and Irene Bradt are bringing a new style of cleanliness to Maricopa.

The two women are the owners of Healthstyles Southwest Pro Cleaning, a company that provides healthy, chemical-free cleaning to both business and residential clients.

Tools of the green cleaning trade include a vapor gun, UV light and other chemical-free products. “Vapor is smaller than steam and kills bacteria, viruses, fungus, mold and spores,” Bradt said.

This isn’t Bradt’s first foray into a business that provides benefits to a person’s health. The parent company of Healthstyles Southwest Pro Cleaning, Healthstyles Southwest, has been in operation for nearly 20 years, providing community health screenings at local grocery stores and other locations.

When people are proactive in their health, they are likely to live a longer happier life style, Bradt said. She added while she believes internal health is important, outside factors have an effect on a person’s personal well-being.

“People need to understand the benefits of green living for the earth and their families,” Bradt said.
