In June, 136 homes in Maricopa and the surrounding rural areas sold for a combined $22 million, according to the statistical market analysis from the Arizona Multiple Listing Service. The homes fetched an average of 97 percent of their asking price.

The highest-priced house was on West Blue Suede Shoes Lane in Province and sold for $310,000. The 2 bedroom, 3 bath waterfront 2,268-square-foot home, with separate garage casita, was on the market 164 days. In May, the highest-priced house was in Province and sold for $380,000 after 112 days.

The lowest-priced house sold in June for $97,500 on West Mediterranian Way in the Tortossa community. The 1,219-square-foot house was on the market for 71 days.
