The Maricopa Fire Department will celebrate National Emergency Medical Services Week 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday during a community open house at Fire Station 571, 20945 N. Porter Road.
Firefighters will showcase and demonstrate the many tools of the trade used to deliver state of the art pre-hospital emergency medical care, along with station and fire truck tours.
Staff will provide the community with an inside look into the many aspects of the services provided by the department. There also will be displays with safety and educational materials for the public take home.
