Maricopa Historical Society to Host Historic Golf Tournament

The Maricopa Historical Society will host the 4th Annual Historic Golf Tournament on Oct. 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Duke at Rancho El Dorado as part of Stagecoach Days 2014.

The event includes an 18-hole scramble, lunch, silent auction and raffle and supports the Maricopa Historical Society’s collection of artifacts and historical items.

As part of the Stagecoach Days festivities, the Maricopa Historical Society brings another event in celebration of Maricopa’s founding and its rich cultural history.

The Maricopa Historical Society continues to raise funds for a permanent home for its vast collection of historical items, which includes artifacts from all eras of Maricopa’s history, including Native American, Spanish and American.

Tournament play is $100 per golfer. For the non-golfer who would like to join for lunch, it begins at 12:30 p.m. and the ticket price is $25.
