The Maricopa police department is investigating an apparent armed robbery that occurred yesterday in the Rancho El Dorado subdivision.
Police were alerted to the incident around 6:20 p.m. when the victim called dispatch and said he was just robbed by four male subjects wielding handguns.
According to city spokeswoman LaTricia Woods, the four men pulled into the driveway of the victim’s home minutes before the call and approached him demanding money.
The victim complied with the suspects’ demands, giving the four men his cash, miscellaneous forms of identification and house and car keys.
Maricopa police are not providing any further descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle they were driving, or any other facts about the incident.
