Maricopa Youth Football registering players until July 4

Fall registration for Maricopa Youth Football continues through July 4.

Maricopa Youth Football is transitioning to Southeast Valley Football, a member of American Youth Football, and will change its name to SEV-Maricopa. American Youth Football is boasts more than 100 teams and is dedicated to helping young players develop by emphasizing learning, playing and instilling high moral standards.

The first day of practice is July 29, and Aug. 9 is the season kick-off party. Cost is $285 for ages 5 to 9 and $335 for ages 10 to 13. Players with their own equipment receive a $40 discount .
