Maricopans show off their stuff at weekly car show

As the sun sets at 6:30 p.m. the cars start to pull into the parking lot for the weekly Cruise Night Maricopa held in front of Sonic and Checker Auto Parts.

The event, hosted in the Sonic parking lot every Tuesday, starts at 7 p.m. and gives residents the chance to show off their favorite projects and vehicles of all types and vintages.

“Even if you bring a car you’ve just started working on, it doesn’t matter. Just come out to represent the city of Maricopa,” said the events coordinator, the proud owner of a 1981 Caballista.
