The suspect Maricopa police are seeking in connection with Tuesday’s robbery at Great Western Bank in Maricopa is a black female in her mid 20s, approximately 5 feet to 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 100 to 120 pounds.
The suspect entered the bank on Garvey Avenue in the Maricopa Business Center around 9:30 a.m. displaying a handgun and demanding money.
She was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with orange lettering with an orange or red bill, dark, wrap-around sunglasses, a long-sleeve red shirt and baggy gym shorts and white shoes.
The suspect fled in a white or gray 2006 or 2007 Chrysler Town and Country mini van driven by an unknown suspect. It is not known whether the driver was a man or a woman, said Officer Ricardo Alvarado, spokesman for MPD.
