MUSD Governing Board on break until August

The Maricopa Unified School districts governing board will be taking a several-week hiatus.

The board, which normally meets every other Wednesday, would typically hold a meeting this Wednesday.

“The way the schedule is set up is so that if a board member wants to take a vacation in July they can,” said board member Tim White.

This was accomplished by scheduling a single board meeting this month. It took place July 14.

For those itching to attend a school board meeting, the next one will be at 6 p.m., Aug.13 at Pima Butte Elementary, 42202 West Rancho El Dorado Parkway.
