The Maricopa Unified School District will be holding its 3rd annual Art Walk 4 to 6 p.m. April 24 at the district offices, 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
The event, which is open to the public, will showcase the works of visual and performing-arts students districtwide.
Maria Pour, fine arts teacher at Maricopa High School, said the collection of students’ work includes art from the elementary and middle schools and from the high school including graphic design, photography, painting and drawing.
“(Teachers) throughout the year like to select and highlight the pieces that really stand out and showcase those students’ work,” Pour said.
The high school orchestra and its chamber group will perform during the Art Walk.
The exhibit remains on display through mid-May.
