2 suspects arrested in Stanfield burglary

Two burglars were caught on surveillance footage stealing electric engines from a business on the 33000 block of West Barnes Road in Stanfield early in the morning on Aug. 4, according to a press release from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.

At 1:05 a.m. a detective observed a yellow 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck pull into a business on West Barnes Road and saw two men place stolen electric engines into the bed of their truck and take off, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Jason Matthew Kildy, 33, and Alan Ray Church, 47, of Stanfield were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft and booked into the county jail, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau was conducting surveillance in the area in response to the high number of burglaries occurring in the area.
