Red Star Vapor plans to flip on its open sign and begin selling merchandise to vaping Maricopans tomorrow morning.

The store received its certificate of occupancy and installed temporary signage yesterday, marking a milestone, according to CEO Josh Clikeman.

“We’re very excited,” he told InMaricopa. “This is our 50th Red Star Vapor shop in total.”

The Mesa-based retailer opened its first store in 2014 and has expanded across Arizona and into Colorado, Texas and New Mexico.

Employees at the store began unboxing merchandise and filling shelves this morning. District Manager Debra Garcia said while customers return for top sellers — like store branded juice, disposable vapes and CBD products — their customer service brings them back.

“We go above and beyond for our customers,” Garcia said. “We always make sure they are taken care of, and we pride ourselves in that. It can be hard to find in the vape industry.”

The vape store will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
