Resident: MPD needs to crack down on handicap-parking violators

Re: The number of people who are illegally parking in handicap spaces — some have no placard or license; others have, but the handicap person is not with them. I have seen a group of teens jump over the side of a convertible and run into Bashas’. I have also witnessed construction and service vehicles use these spaces.

I think the city would send a traffic message and make some money in fines if the police would start an occasional patrol to check these infractions out.
