Maricopa’s weekend weather is expected to warm up a bit before rain and chill return next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Today is sunny after a frosty night, and the high temperature is expected to reach 61 degrees F. Tonight will be clear with a low around 35.

Friday, expect more sun and a high near 68. The overnight low will be around 38.

Saturday is forecast to return to the 70s, with a predicted high of 73 under sunny skies. The night likely will be mostly clear with a low around 43.

Sunday has a mostly sunny forecast with a high near 75 and winds up to 15 mph. By evening, however, the skies will be mostly cloudy and the nighttime low around 47 as the weather turns wet.

From this distance, rain is expected Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the highest likelihood (50% chance) on Monday night as high temperatures stay in the 60s.
