Volleyball looking for first conference win Tuesday

The Maricopa High School varsity volleyball team will travel to Fountain Hills Tuesday in search of their first conference victory.

They will meet the Fountain Hills Falcons, who are also looking for their first conference win.

The Falcons are 3-2 on the young season and, after winning their first three games of the year, have dropped two straight. While the Rams won their first game of the season, they have yet to notch another ‘w,’ dropping the past four straight.

So far the Rams have been swept twice, won one set in another game and took another game to five sets.

In order to secure a victory, the team will have to improve upon its serving and serve defense.
