A local man is facing multiple charges including criminal damage after his arrest on July 31.

Christopher Hill was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at his father’s home on North Wilford Avenue in Homestead, police said.

Around 8 a.m., Maricopa police and fire departments were called to the home in response to an undisclosed medical emergency, authorities said. When arriving on the scene, fire personnel requested police assistance because two men were fighting. One man was identified as Hill and the other was his father, police said.

When interviewed by officers, Hill’s father said his son showed up at his home, allegedly high on drugs and equipped with a firearm. The man told his son to leave. Hill allegedly broke the lock on the front door in an attempt to enter the home. Hill allegedly ignored several requests by police to leave the area until officers organized a cab ride home. Hill returned and entered the home around noon, police said.

According to the report, officers returned to the residence and Hill was arrested. While searching Hill, a small glass pipe was found inside his shoe.

Hill was booked and taken to Pinal County Jail.
