Lake-front home most expensive in July

In July, 127 homes in Maricopa and the surrounding rural areas sold for a combined $19.6 million, according to the statistical market analysis from the Arizona Multiple Listing Service. The homes fetched an average of 98 percent of their asking price.

The highest-priced house was a two-story, 3,277 square-foot home on West Park Hill Drive in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado. It sold for $297,500 after being on the market for 114 days. The home featured a pool and was situated on a lakefront lot with mountain views.

In June, the highest-priced house was in Province and sold for $380,000 after 164 days.

The lowest-priced house sold in July for $94,500 on West Amalfi Avenue in the Tortosa community. The 1,370 square-foot house was on the market  64 days.
