The storms of the past weekend brought significant damage to trees and generated a large amount of debris.
To assist residents with the tree and debris removal, Copa Cares, a community project sponsored by the City of Maricopa Community Services Department, will have a storm damage drop-off today through Sunday, Sept. 25. The drop-off will be located on the former Estrella Gin property, located at 48522 W. Garvey Road.
Bring only storm-damaged trees to the disposal site. No commercial debris will be allowed. For more information, contact the city’s code compliance office at 520-316-6898.
