JWP collision blocks lanes

A collision between two sedans blocked traffic lanes at a busy midtown intersection Friday afternoon.

First responders reported no injuries, but both vehicles were disabled by the impact in the middle of Edison Road at John Wayne Parkway. Air bags deployed in at least one of the cars.

Maricopa Police Department engaged two tow-truck companies to remove the Ford and Cadillac while Maricopa Fire/Medical helped block traffic.
